First off, I had a moment that really struck me when I checked in. Iolanda at the front desk was just so welcoming, a breath of fresh air after traveling, and later I enjoyed some pea soup at the bar that was just outstanding, maybe a bit unexpected but delicious.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly it felt worth it.

I stayed for one night and really loved the gorgeous decor and the cozy vibe of my room. You can't miss the relaxing sauna and sun terrace for some downtime. Just keep in mind the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear a bit of noise outside, but it didn't ruin my stay! 😊

the holmes hotel is super cool and comfy! loved the stylish decor with all the sherlock holmes vibes, its in a great spot close to baker st tube, breakfast was delish and served fresh to our table. my room was spacious and clean with a really good shower. the staff were all friendly and helpful, felt really welcome during my stay.
had a lil issue with the restroom being a bit cramped and i wish there were more storage options in the room.

Impeccable service and charming theme
I had a fantastic stay, particularly enjoying the welcoming atmosphere created by the amazing staff. The thematic decorations related to Sherlock Holmes added a delightful touch to the experience. The only downside was that the breakfast could use more variety, as it felt somewhat limited for a hotel of this caliber.

I loved how my dog and I were welcomed with a cozy bed and bowl in our room, which made settling in feel like home. The sauna was a perfect, relaxing end to our days, and the vegan pancakes at breakfast were a real treat. Just a heads up, the breakfast is pricey, but there are tons of cute cafes nearby to try! 🐾

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was stunning and super clean. The free teddy and bag were delightfully unexpected. Breakfast was a culinary masterpiece, truly sensational!
The kids found the sofa bed more uncomfortable than a night on a park bench. You'd think we were trying to make them sleep on a cloud!

this place was perfection from start to finish. the staff made our wedding weekend super special, like cute notes on the mirror n cakes in the room. the location was amazin, close to everything we needed. breakfast was really good too!
the room next to us had a loud tv, so it was kinda noisy at times. would like better soundproofing.

The mini bar was empty, but the cocktails were memorable during my stay.

The breakfast at The Holmes may lack a buffet, but the local food scene is buzzing—just a stroll away, you've got gems like Fucina and The Rajdoot waiting to be explored. Plus, the vibe of the lounge area really hits the spot for a chill evening. And let’s not forget, the complementary water bottles are a sweet touch for thirsty travelers!
Checked in late and had to wait 'til after 3pm. my room was a wee squeaky, disturbing every move. The aircon was temperamental, and the window wouldn’t shut without a wrestling match. Plus, had a bit of a scavenger hunt for more tea bags—only the ‘weird & wonderful’ flavors were available.
